Semi-automated tank cleaning system designed to reduce slop, minimise operator tank entry and improve cleaning efficiency offshore.
ERIC is a semi-automated inline cleaning system designed to recycle wash fluid during tank and pit cleaning operations, reducing the volume of waste generated through conventional cleaning methods.
Wash fluid is continuously recirculated through the system, allowing solids to separate before the cleaner fluid is reused within the cleaning process.

Conventional tank cleaning can generate significant volumes of waste while placing personnel inside tanks for extended periods. ERIC changes the process by carrying out the majority of the cleaning remotely, continuously recirculating wash fluid through the system and separating solids so the fluid can be reused.
The result is a more controlled cleaning process with reduced slop generation, less manual intervention and significantly less time required for personnel inside the tank. And importantly, ERIC is described for what it is: a semi-automated system designed to reduce tank entry, not make unrealistic claims that tank entry disappears altogether.
